The design & platform: Squarespace’s templates, underlying code, and hosting environment are proprietary. You’re essentially renting the platform for which you are paying a monthly/yearly subscription. You can’t take the exact site design and backend and move it to another host, you’d have to rebuild it elsewhere.

Custom work: Any unique graphics, copy, or custom code we create for you is yours (unless otherwise stated in our contract).
